Artist's Description
This was my very first balsawood relief picture that I did in the 1980's. It's done with cutting the balsawood and gluing them onto gesso treated masonite board. Brushing gesso over the wood to make texture, then using a wood stain on top and wiping away the excess for highlights. This piece has been framed.
